SHOPIFY CAUSING SMALL BUSINESSES TO FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!

 

 

I have been on support chat after support chat after support chat.

In October, we received a payment of $18,940. Since then, we have received over $60K worth of payments. My account just says "pending" under the status of the payout. We have already shipped the products to our customers, and we HAVE NOT RECEIVED PAYMENT FOR OUR SALES FROM SHOPIFY! We are literally in a hole right now, trying to dig ourselves out. 

 

Every time I contact Shopify, I get this. I am copying and pasting a response.

However, I am still closely monitoring the situation and will keep you informed as soon as I receive any information from the specialized team.

There is no way a COMPANY as BIG as SHOPIFY can just hold your money and leave you on tier one support and let you hope and pray you get a response back for your payouts?

NO..... They keep saying the same thing that they will escalate the issue.

We were fined for $9,725 for a product that is perfectly legal and has not been recalled (male supplement...The Goat). NO paperwork, NO explanation, NO human to talk too, and they will NOT give us information to contact anyone about this issue. Shopify just keeps blaming Mastercard and or "backing partners". They even went as far as to take the fine out of our business account (of course we had it stopped). Since then they have taken all the money (through our payouts) and now we cant get them to release any of the funds beyond the fine. I am seeking legal advice! This have gone beyond any power a business should have over anybody, A civil lawsuit is well overdue for many people.
