Shopify Learning Plan, "Shopify Payments isn’t processing transactions. Please select plan"

On a Shopify Learning Plan, but getting error:  "Shopify Payments isn’t processing transactions. Please select plan"

I have my store set to USA, shipping USA but still need to select a plan?

Anything else I can try? I'm using paypal express but I feel like this will limit the amount of customers.

I also tried Airwallex but they won't provide me with payment processing

The error you're seeing is because Shopify requires a paid plan before you can activate Shopify Payments and fully enable your checkout. Even if your store is set to the USA and you're using PayPal Express, you’ll need to select a plan under Settings > Plan to start processing actual transactions. PayPal works on trial, but Shopify Payments won’t — and yes, relying on PayPal alone might limit your conversion rate.
