Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hello all,
My shopify payment needs to be fixed. Here are details, please help!
1. Website: HTTP://www.Vaang.co
2. Payment gateway : Shopify payment. No other payment gateway is enable.
3. Currency : US Dollar
4. Payment Capture : Automatic
I have tried to run a small order test with multiple credit cards. The system shows "there was an issue processing your payment."
What I tried to resolve the issue.
- Make sure the payment is enable.
- Check the payout setting.
Please help! Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi @kanitta
Thanks for reaching out here! Welcome to the Shopify Community.
I understand that you are experiencing some issues with accepting payments on your store. That's certainly not ideal, so I can appreciate the fact you want to fix this.
Thanks for confirming that you're using Shopify Payments. Is this your first time setting up payments on your store, or were they working OK previously and suddenly stopped working?
I would recommend checking your Shopify Payments settings to double check that your payment settings are set up correctly. If you navigate to Settings > Payments you will see the Shopify Payments section there - click Manage to view more information about the setup. Keep an eye out for any obvious warnings or error messages here, such as verification required.
Double check that test mode is not enabled on the gateway, as that would cause problems when trying to accept real payments in your checkout.
If test mode is not enabled, and you have confirmed there are no setup issues with the gateway itself, then the next step would be to ensure all payment information is being entered correctly in checkout. If you have tried multiple credit cards and are still having issues with payment processing, it's possible that there may be an issue with your bank. It would be a good idea to contact your bank to ensure that there are no issues with your account or credit cards.
If you have checked your Shopify Payments settings and checked your bank account but are still unable to process payments, then you should contact our support team directly for assistance. We can take a closer look at your account and do our best to help you troubleshoot the issue and ensure that your payments are processed correctly.

Hi Rick,
Thank you so much for your suggestion. I finally contacted your support team. They found out that the amount to be charged has to be at least $0.50.
Thank you again for your attention and suggestion.
Hi @kanitta
You are very welcome!
Thanks for getting back to let me know you managed to figure this out with our team. That is great to hear!
There is indeed a minimum amount for Shopify Payments, which can differ depending on what region you are in. For all orders in USD, CAD, AUD, NZD or SGD then $0.50 is the minimum, and payments below that amount will fail as you have experienced.
You mentioned that you were running test orders - are you still in the process of building your store? I'd love to know what you are working on currently and how your store is coming along. I'd be happy to provide you with some guidance and resources! This official 2023 YouTube tutorial here is a fantastic resource to use, as it runs through everything you need to know to start selling.

So I'm having an issue with my payments
every time I try and make a payment for one of my products then I get the 'your details cant be verified' message, I'm not sure if its just me or if a customer was to make a payment then it wouldn't go through, could anyone point me in the right direction, Thankyou
Hi there, @Oliver2244. Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the Shopify Community Forums! My name is Imogen. It's good to meet you!
Typically, these errors are local to the specific customer at the time of purchase. For this specific error, it looks like there's an issue with the payment method you're using. Have you attempted to use a different payment method? Do you experience the same error when doing so? This would better inform you on if this issue is tied to the initial payment method you attempted to use, or if the issue may be something larger.
If you have concerns regarding errors within your checkout, then I recommend that you reach out to our Support Team via our Help Center. This will allow us to get you authenticated and take a closer look at any potential errors that may be impacting your checkout.
