Shopify Payments are on hold

Received two messages on home icon about not being able to accept payments. I've reviewed and completed everything to my knowledge in the accounts and paypal sections. Is it on hold until review is complete or am i missing something blatantly obvious here? 

 

"Your Shopify Payments account is on hold"

"Your store can’t accept new orders with Shopify Payments."

 

"Your payouts from Shopify Payments are on hold while we review your account"

"Contact Support for next steps on this standard review. This hold does not prevent your customers from checking out."

Right, Shopify Payments will be on hold until the review is complete.

Also, you could check in on the status of the review of Shopify's support via email.

Our Financial Service team will sometimes put Shopify Payments account on a temporary hold until we can authenticate your account fully. This is to ensure all merchants using our services are legitimate businesses and are eligible to use Shopify Payments. You can still accept orders during this hold, and customers can still check out using Shopify Payments;  it is only the funds you earn from those orders that are on hold until our team can verify you!

The next best step to take here is to contact our support team so our Financial Services team can chat with you about the hold. Once they verify your identity, they can remove the hold and you can continue making sales. While we’re not able to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community at this time, we’d be happy to continue assisting you through live chat, email, or callback. Please visit our Help Centre here to create a support request. To speak to our support team directly, you can type in your question or the topic you need help with. After that, you will be provided with some guides that may resolve your issue for you, and it will also give you the option to speak to a Support Advisor if the guides aren't what you're looking for. Its stats that my account can not accept new orders.

In most cases, you can still accept orders - apologies for the miscommunication here. You mentioned one of the messages you received states that your payouts are on hold until your account is verified, which was where the confusion came from. Not to worry though! Once you contact our support team, we can get the ball rolling with your account verification so you can get back to using Shopify Payments as usual.
