Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Dear Shopify,
Before my shop was closed, there was still a balance on my Shopify payments that I was to receive.
Can you please transfer that balance into my Paypal acc? I would very much appreciate your support for this one.
Thank you.
Hey, there
Dallas here from the Shopify Social Care Team.
I'm not able to reroute the funds to your PayPal account, however, you will still receive your payout there is no need to worry about that. If you have a payout scheduled and you close your store within that time your payout will still be sent to your bank account.
Have you not received it yet? When did you close your store and do you know when the payout was scheduled to arrive?

Thanks for replying Dallas.
Here's what happened:
Around 2nd week of October, I had received 2 orders to fulfill. One paid with Paypal (which I already received) and the other with Shopify Payments. At that time, I still hadn't set up my Shopify payments so the money was on hold. So I fulfilled both orders through Aliexpress.
A week later, for some reasons the Shopify Risk Assessment team closed my store. I totally accepted that and moved on.
Right this week, the 2 orders had already been delivered to my customers. And I remember that I still have to receive that payment on Shopify that was on hold.
That is my concern. Thank you.
Ok, in order to look into this more I'm going to have to take a closer look at your store. I'm going to send you an email to the email address associated with this forum's account. If that is the account owner's email can you reply to that email from that account? If it isn't then can you please CC the account owner email and get that email to reply. From there I will be able to proceed in looking further into this situation for you.
Please keep an eye out for that email. If you do not see that please send me another message on this forum.

here is my scenario like his in a way i opened up a shopify account i chose shopify payments as payment provider within 2 days i sold over
$700 in merchandise i get an email from a shopify risk representative she freezes $550 of the money tells me ill get it in 4 months she released $209.00 i said ok not sure why i wouldn't get a warning rather then tell me a new rule stating we cant sell personal protection equipment at this time instead of taking my money like that.and now the shopify manager is off my site so i have no record other than her email that shopify took my money. i now use quickbooks which i've had for years no issues with them i could have used them in the first place but wasn't listed as a option on shopify provider list that i noticed.so now i have to worry about shopify some risk assessment lady via email to actually pay me almost a half of year from now because of a new rule that was never in place 4 weeks ago.......does this sound right and legal?
I am also facing same problem..they took my money and closed my account without any warning and also never told me when will i get my money back?
Hi, i recently reopened my store i made a sale and i cannot recieve my payout because the old bank account info thats currently on my store is to a closed bank account. i cant add a new one because it asks me for my old account and routing number which i can not get anymore.
I would be more than happy to see what I can do to help you out with this. In order to change your banking information, if you don't know your previous information, I'll just have to send this up to our Account Integrity team. They will be able to help you to verify your account and then they will be able to help you add the new banking information.
In order to send that up, I'll first need to move this conversation to email. I have gone ahead to send you an email to the address associated with this Shopify Community account. All of the steps that I will need from you before I will be able to send this up are listed in there.
If you don't see this email in your inbox or your spam folder please let me know.

Hey, I was just wondering what happens if you signed up for a plan already but your 14-day trial has not expired yet. My billing date is next week for both the Shopify store and Loox reviews and I was wondering if I cancel the store before that billing date I will not be charged, correct?
Also, I had another question about the closing of a store. Say you were in the middle of fulfilling an order and shipping it out and you decide to close your store. Will the customers still receive the product and will I still receive the payment?
Hello, i have a similar issue. I had an order I fulfilled and never received my payment for from shopify. I closed my store and didn't have my payments setup.
I’ve had the same problem, my store has been closed for months but I have money in my account that needs to be accessed as soon as possible, please get back to me. Thankyou
you closed my account for no reasons and I'm owed 1500 pounds how can you just take peoples money like that
