Shopify payments do not appear as an option

I've set up Shopify payments, the dashboard tells me that everything's ok and does not inform me of any error. I've submitted proof of address and the payment method still does not show up when I try to checkout. This is stalling the opening of my online store. I'm thinking that maybe they're still verifying the document I've sent but, how do I know for sure? It has been some days now and I don't get any type of warning that something is going on behind the curtains and that's why Shopify payments do not appear.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. I'm happy to provide some assistance with this request, to ensure it gets resolved. To confirm I'm fully understanding, are you unable to enter credit card details on the checkout page of your online shop?

Thank you kindly for your reply. I looked extensively for the live chat, but I could not find it. It would be better to have the support options available in the main support page. This way is hidden in a category.

Turns out that the problem was solved by itself. The dashboard was asking again for a proof of address and now I've tried to go to checkout and voilá, the shopify payments are online and running. It was a matter of document verification. But... The warning/error could be better placed, I stumbled upon by chance. I could have gone for days before I found that another proof of address was needed.
