Thanks for reaching out and posting to the Shopify Community! We hope you're enjoying the platform so far.

In regards to Shopify Payments being enabled in Poland, at this time we do not have a current update or status on this. However, I will go ahead and submit your feedback to our developers to look into implementing it in the future.

 In the meantime, I'd like to share what payment gateways are available in Poland. Some third-party payment gateways to look into are:

• 2Checkout
• Stripe
• PayPal Express Checkout
• Klarna

Let us know what gateways you decide to use! I'd also love to learn more about your online business. Is there anything you are actively working on that you'd like us to help you with?

It would be nice if anyone from Shopify would reply to our questions. At least some kind of time plan. We dont want to wait years for features that should be enabled from the get-go.

Can someone from Shopify reply regarding your current road map for Shopify Payments in Europe?

What is the way to integrate Google Pay and Apple Pay in Shopify for the
business located in Poland? Is it possible to do so via Stripe Express

Apple pay is already available via Stripe (I already have). Google pay unfortunately we need to wait for Shopify payment to be available in Poland.

I am also waiting for years with no success....

Thanks, i have not yet finished configuration for apple pay, however is it also supported for express checkout? Reg Google Pay i am wondering whether it's possible by adding a code...

Yes it's possible to have express checkout via Stripe, you can follow the steps trough Stripe.

Unfortunately there's no possibility of coding the checkout in Shopify.

Btw, I am also a costumer 🙂

Thanks a lot! We are setting up only now, so just learning…So what we definitely miss is other digital wallets, especially Google Pay, @Victoria, Can you please address it? It’s really behind other solutions available on the market. Maybe at least beta version could be provided for Polish users.

As you can see it’s only possible to have Apple Pay via Stripe, no option for other digital wallets, especially Google Pay… it’s really below the standards available on the market today. Maybe at least beta version for Shopify payments in Poland would be available? Alternatively, allowing this via stripe as Apple Pay. Also can you share if Shopify developers would be able to support any other integration?

Hi Joanna,

As I am using Shopify here in Poland for around  3 years, I think the most efficient way is to use an external payment integrator of P24 which I do btw.
please check my website and go to the checkout phase so you could have an idea how it looks like.

Thanks! would be great to see how it works if you can share the page:) I expect to work with the markets outside Poland so I thought going for more global provider like stripe would be a better solution, but i will check how p24 works. Stripe is now about to release embedded checkout beta so it might give a nice experience. Anyway, I have another questions if you could help with... 🙂 as I am going through the registration process of my domain with apple through stripe now ... have you enrolled for paid developer program to register domain? Pls note that I sell only in PL so its necessary for me to use a local provider such as P24, so if you're going internationally, I think Stripe alone is a good idea.

 The biggest issue is that without it stores in Poland can’t use more than one currency and it’s kind of ridiculous, especially in Europe.

For your information, my store (https://next-officialstore.com) is focused on selling electronics and serve customers from all around the world. Thats why shopify payments is that important for me to be able to sell on diffrent currencies. I really need to have discover, maestro and google pay as well.
