Shopify Payments Non-US have SSN

I want to locate my store in US cause i dont have shopify payments in Turkey. I Have SSN and a wise US bank account. Im currently in Turkey. Can i create my store in US and if i can do i need to pay sales or income tax.

Hello! Read the information about double taxation, maybe in your country it is written somewhere. You have to pay taxes where the business is registered.

Requests to enable Shopify Payments on a store that is located outside of the U.S. are reviewed on a case by case basis. The most important factors are whether you have a US tax ID and your business has physical operations on US soil. In addition to this, you will also require all of the following in order to be considered:

1. Government issued photo ID (driver's licence, passport, etc. - non-US ID may be accepted)
2. A Tax ID in the United States:
   1. EIN if the merchant is LLC/Corp
      
   2. SSN if merchant is Sole Proprietor
      
3. Business registration document (Registered in the US with the government)
4. Proof that the business is actually operating from the US. This can include tracking showing they are shipping from the US or proof of a physical US address (not a forwarding address), or more, at our team's discretion. Please note that a bank statement is not a valid proof of address.
5. A USD checking account, opened with a real US banking institution, located on US soil. Virtual banks and currency services will not work for this, it has to be a real US bank

We'll escalate your request to our Shopify Payments team who will review your application and let you know the outcome. While you wait for the results of this review, you may want to set up a third-party payment gateway so you can start accepting payments on your store.
