Shopify Payments Processing without Order

Is it possible to use Shopify Payments like a PDQ machine and input a value rather than have to raise an order?

We have customers who wish to pay by Credit Card but are not paying End User pricing we show on the website. My colleague would like to take payment for these orders without having to raise the order within Shopify. So would like to input a value and the payment details and it is taken like it would with a traditional PDQ machine.

Did you get an answer to this?  I'm not seeing it and have the same issue.
