Solved

I’ve gotten a few complains from costumers saying that my store won’t let them pay. So straight away I tired to fix it because I didn’t wanna lose customers but no matter how hard I tried I couldn’t fix it because all it would say is “This store can’t accept payments right now.”

so if anybody knows how to solve this please let me know because I need to fix this ASAP.

Hi, @ ,

Thank you for the clarification. Do you have any other payment gateways active on your account? Is this also happening for all customers?

I actually just contacted customer support and the only problem was that I had to verify my identity. Thank you

Hi, @!

Are you able to confirm the following please -

  • Is your store still on test mode?
  • Are you using Shopify Payments? If so, has this been activated?

When I turn test mode on, it shows everything as being normal except that the transactions don’t go through but when I turn it off it says This store can’t accept payments right now.”

yes my Shopify payments are on, I feel like I’m missing something but I don’t know what it is.

How can I have Shopify Payments Reactivated in my Store?

Hi, @b!

I understand that you're wanting to reactivate Shopify Payments on your store.

In order to enable Shopify Payments on an eligible store, head over to your Settings > Payments section of the admin. In there you should see a tile for Shopify Payments where you can activate it as a payment method on your store.

If this doesn't work, you may need to review the Shopify Payments Eligibility to ensure your store is still eligible for this payment gateway.

How can I verify my identity on shopify, if it is showing the same message about "This store cannot access payments"?

Hi @8thdaystore ,

Do you have any notifications in your Shopify admin asking you to submit documents for verification?
