SHOPIFY - PRINTFUL...Shipping Company. Shipping logistics and payment.

1.  Is there a step-by-step overview of the fulfillment logistics between Shopify, Printful and the delivery company?  How is the customer notified of shipping-delivery information?

2.  How is payment processed?  Customer pays Shopify.  Payment is confirmed by Shopfy.  Shopify processes order to Printful.  Does Shopify process payment to Printful?  If the customer processes their order and includes shipping in the payment to Shoify, how is the shipping payment calculated?  The customer paid in full (including shipping) in advance to Shopify.  But how does Printful know what shipping procedure to follow, based on what the customer [aid to Shopify.
