Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hello! How can we show different prices for different markets, changing the country in the billing address in the checkout? If we sell only digital products and we do not have shipping.
For product A, we have:
Germany - 10.00 euro
Denmark - 10.50 euro
And when the customer changed country in the Billing we shows different price in the checkout.
Set Up Checkout for Country-Based Price Switching
Shopify Markets can automatically display the correct price based on the customer’s billing country during checkout. However, to ensure the prices switch based on the country the customer selects in the billing section of the checkout, follow these steps:
Steps:
1. Enable Auto-detection of Country:
Shopify automatically detects the customer’s location using their IP address.
If the customer changes their billing address in the checkout, Shopify will dynamically adjust the prices based on the billing country.
2. Enable Currency Conversion (Optional):
You can allow customers to see their prices in their local currency during checkout. Make sure you have enabled Shopify Payments and selected the desired currencies.
Go to Settings > Payments > Shopify Payments.
Enable Multiple currencies and select the currencies you want to support (e.g., Euros for Germany and Denmark).
3. Testing:
Go through the checkout process as if you were a customer.
Change the country in the Billing Address section.
Ensure that the correct prices appear when you
change the billing country.
