Setting up my account and a mistyped my name. (Fat fingers) now nothing can be verified because the spelling doesn’t match my other document! How can I reset and start over?

Once you have submitted your details during Shopify Payments setup it is not possible to manually change the information we have on file; you will need to contact our support team via the Help Center so we can authenticate you on the account and send this to our payments team for review. They can change the information we have for your account and then we can verify you with the documentation provided.

I appreciate the Help Center can sometimes be difficult to navigate but if you speak with the chatbot and request to speak with support you should be presented with an option to start a live chat. Once you have started a live chat, please outline your issue and our team can make notes and send this to our payments department for review. They will then be in touch over email with instructions on how to proceed.
