Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I am a small business owner who recently launched on Shopify. I noticed 31 transactions in the same day of $10 taken from my account. I tried to reach out to Shopify and then they sent me on a wild goose chase to Stripe. Stripe tells me to input my transaction details on their site, but no matter what, it always says there is nothing on file that matches that transaction no matter how I adjust the date etc. I thought I could swallow not having any customer support just from being totally defeated by trying to research online how to get my money back. Today I looked at my account again now (two weeks later) and there are more transactions for over $200!! WTF!!!! We are small business owners and every dollar matters. I am trying to invest in my next round of inventory and can't do that because I can't even use my profits earned due to this terrible platform with no way to reconcile. $500 is a lot for a small business like mine. Shopify must want a PR shitstorm because I am about to raise hell. I am seeing so many others who have lost more money than me using this dumb platform with no customer support.
I am usually not a person who is rude but this is beyond disheartening. It makes no sense that a company that touts itself as being in support of small businesses would not give proper communication channels of support to people who have made and LOST money using their platform. We are being robbed and Shopify is doing nothing.
I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!
Same happened to me, Shopify is DUMP! please do not use this platform, they are scammers!
