Stripe or Shopify Payments: Which is best for EU transactions?

Hello,

I am trying to decide if I should use Stripe, or shopify payments, to receive payments from clients. The store will sell in euro, to EU countries. I am getting confused with all the different fees.

I talked to shopify support, they said there was no fee with Shopify Payment. Sounds great, right? Except that after a bit of research, I see a 1.8% credit card fees.

So now I am not sure what to think. Is anyone able to lay out in simple terms what is best between Shopify payment and using Stripe as payment provider?
