Suggestion | Shipping Rates | Conditional Pricing | Allow Setting Two Conditions

When setting conditional pricing for custom shipping rates, please allow putting two conditions where necessary. 

Scenario:

We offer free shipping for orders above a certain value (i.e., based on order price), but recently, we have seen customers using this for bulk purchases, where the order weight becomes so high that sometimes the shipping cost itself is equal to or more than the entire order value!

We want to keep offering free shipping for orders above a certain value (i.e., based on order price), but also want to put a restriction based on a second condition based on item weight. 

For example, free shipping up to Rs.700 but only if the order weight is less than 1 kg.

This is a good suggestion. Typically, the base options provided for Shopify features cover simple use cases only. It would be nice to have this built-in.

If you're looking for an to work around this, I would recommend using either of the following:

• An app that uses Shopify Functions to calculate shipping discounts
• Or, an app that provides "carrier calculated shipping rates"

Either option would make it possible to set multiple conditions on free shipping. Unfortunately, our app does not currently offer this (we have shipping discounts, but not a "total weight" criteria), but I'm sure you can find an app that works for your use case.

This could be achieved with our shipping discount app.
We have a feature where you can choose from a range of checkout conditions, and activate a free shipping discount if these rules are met.
See example below.

You can also choose which rates you want to apply the shipping discount to.
