Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi there! I often have to ship things that are not orders on Shopify (as I'm sure every small business does). I need to send product to a photographer, I need to get my goods into the USA from Mexico, etc.
How can I take advantage of the great shipping rates that Shopify gets without it being for an order?
This is one of the main reasons I signed on to Shopify so I would love to know how to do this. Thanks!
Hi @BajaWey,
You will be able to use Shopify shipping only for the orders within the Shopify dashboard. However, you can have a chat with Shopify support to know if there are any other possible ways to handle this with Shopify shipping.
Thanks - that is such a bummer Shopify can't be more helpful in this regard. As a small business with a heavy, large product I am getting killed by transportation costs. Does anybody have other partners or avenues they recommend small businesses turn to get help on this?
I spoke with customer service and they had nothing to offer. For return labels they only even offer USPS, you can't even use UPS! I am so disappointed. Has anyone else worked through this? Any suggestions?
Hi @BajaWey,
Sorry to hear that. As a workaround, you can use the Multi Carrier Shipping Label app that helps you automate the complete shipping process as well as generate and print return labels for all top carriers like UPS, Canada Post, DHL, and many more. You can try the app with a 14-day free trial and contact the support for any assistance required.
