Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi
I have used the postal auto fill but i keep getting the error when trying to create a label. I have a 5 digit zip code and no PO box is being used in my address. Can you please advise as Im trying to ship my first product by the morning using this process
I presume it pulls my address from settings/store details?
The address you're shipping from could not be verified.
thanks

Hi, @valota
Welcome to the Shopify Community. Sorry to hear you've been having troubles shipping your first product!
Your "Shipping from" location can be found under Settings > Locations - more on this in our help document linked here. Do you have more than one location that you ship from? In general, if you are getting this error the best thing you can do is validate your address with the carrier you are trying to ship with. Here are a list of validation tools for different carriers:
Address verification/validation:
• USPS address validation
• UPS address validation
• Canada Post address verification
• DHL address lookup
• DHL address verification
Run your shipping address through the corresponding validation tool, and see if there are any differences. From there, make sure to modify your current shipping location details to match what's found in the validation tool.
Let us know how that goes. If you're still having issues, sharing a screenshot of the error you're receiving, including the page the error is on, as well as the shipping carrier you're trying to use would be helpful for troubleshooting. For urgent / live support, you can always also reach out to our Support team!

Hi - I'm having this problem but based in the UK not the US. I am shipping from my home address and these are my first ever orders on my new band merch store.
Any guidance would be much appreciated!
I am having the same issue and I can confirm that the address I am using has been verified. I am trying to get an order out today, please help! I even contacted the customer to give me a new address and I keep getting the same response:
Greetings, @manoftheworld26 ,
Occasionally, the shipping rate calculations provided by Shopify/Google may not align with the methods used by shipping carriers.
We suggest verifying the accuracy of the From and To addresses by utilizing the UPS Website shipping calculator.
