I have tried making this purchase all day long.. the money is on the card.. it keeps giving me the error message “There was an issue processing your payment. Try again or use a different payment method” 

I have done everything.. cleared cache and cookies.. used a different browser, device, email login, phone number… I don’t understand why I’m having such trouble. I just made a purchase to this company last week.. what can I do to fix it?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I'm happy to provide some assistance here. To confirm I'm fully understanding, did you receive this error when checking out as a customer?

 

If so, I highly suggest getting in direct contact with the store in question, so they can investigate immediately. There can be a few reasons as to why that error appears, mainly being when the store's payment gateway has not been integrated properly. Make sure to include all relevant details in your message, such as the error message you received and the troubleshooting steps you've already taken.  

 

It's important the store is made aware, so they can resolve this issue as quickly as possible!

I have also been facing the same issue. I started the ecommerce store a week back and have been facing an issue ever since and that too with with multiple payment gateways. Seems like a shopify issue.

I’m sorry to hear about the issue here. There could be a number of reasons for this error to show up. You can Review your abandoned orders by navigating to Orders > Abandoned Orders and selecting an order. This will allow you to View payment events from an abandoned checkout, which may provide you with additional details on why the payment cannot be successful.

 

Since I cannot authenticate you for the store over the Community forums due to the sensitive information that needs to be shared, I cannot look into the checkout specifics. With that being said, I suggest that you reach out to our live support by logging into your online store using the Contact Us page. This will allow us to verify you as the store owner securely.
