'Total paid today' in order confirmation email

Hi there - hoping someone can help me figure out why there is a separate line item appearing in order confirmation emails. 

A couple of days ago, I noticed that in my order confirmation emails, there is now an additional line item that says "total paid today - $0" despite the customer having made a payment for the item. This wasn't appearing last week, so i'm not sure what has changed for this to appear. 

 

This is a confusing user experience so i'm wanting to remove it. It's the last thing to check off before I can launch my business so hoping someone in this community has some thoughts!

No this hasn't yet been resolved. I have been speaking with the technical team and it looks like for some reason, although payments are set to process automatically, the order confirmation email is being sent before payment has been processed which is why this line item is appearing. They said they are investigating with their developers to see what the root cause of it could be. If you have experienced this previously and have any thoughts please let me know!

Looks like this has yet to be resolved. I am seeing it in my conf. email. Do you know if this has been fixed by Shopify? Thanks!

Hi - Yes this has now been fixed by Shopify. The 'total paid today' is no
longer appearing in confirmation emails.

Hmm...strange. It's still showing up in my order conf which I received today (screenshot attached).

I just went through my conversation with Shopify to see where this landed. They said that it may have been due to customizations I made to the email template, or custom code that was implemented on the site which was driving the total paid today line item. I confirmed on my end this wasn't the case but I think shopify may have made some changes on their end after I followed up multiple times as it stopped appearing once I took the site out of test mode.
