Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hello dear friends, I hope you are all good and doing well,
I imported products from Amazon and I am selling these products with my profit.
However synchronisation application sometimes don't update product prices or stock informations.
That's why I am cancelling orders. However I recognised my balance is negative because of Shopify Transaction Fee as you see below.
I talked to Shopify customer services about this situation, but they said that it is not possible to get a transaction fee after order confirmation.
In this case I need your help. Because this situation is really risky for me. I hope you can advice something.
Best Regards,
Emre
Hi there @zedhouses!
Thanks for reaching out here in the Shopify Community to share some info on your situation.
I can confirm from here that the info shared by support already is correct; that it would not be possible to refund the transaction fee on a refunded order.
You can see this and other info confirmed here on our guide to Creating returns and refunds here on our help site.
This is not something we'd be able to edit or waive for a given merchant, so I'd look at any way you can try to reduce the number of canceled orders involved.
Would there be any way you can act to reduce the instances of stock levels being inaccurate, or otherwise verify that you have products in stock before accepting payments?
