Trial Order Policy: Small Fee with No Refunds (But still shows on Shopify that I owe)

I offer a trial order option where customers pay a small amount upfront. If they are not satisfied, they can return the product within 10 business days. I only cover the shipping fee for the return.

Recently, a trial order was returned, but Shopify is showing that I owe a small amount to the customer. I’m unsure how to resolve this issue or remove the owe on my Shopify?
