Trouble getting UPS to show up for customers

Hi,

I can't get UPS shipping options to show up. USPS works fine. I have
1) Made sure that each product has a weight
2) That I have added rates in the correct zone
3) That all states are selected (I'm trying to set up domestic shipping in the US)
4) Tried to check out my own store while using an incognito browser to eliminate cache as a suspect.  I've also tried multiple browsers.

added in response to good ideas:

5) Finally go through to Shopify support chat.  It got escalated to a tech support team.  I'll report back if they find that I did something incorrectly.

6) verified that I can get a quote on UPS.com from my place to the customer's address

Thanks for any (more!) ideas

The problem was that I had selected a USPS box as my default.  It couldn't then give me a price for shipping UPS, despite the fact that I'd saved a UPS box in my list of packages.  I created a "custom" box and now my customers can pick from multiple shippers.   So now I have to go buy kraft boxes instead of using the ones provided by the shippers.  This will probably lower my shipping costs.  I can't complain about that.  But I don't think the list of packages feature is implemented very well.  If there is a note there telling us that selecting a carrier shipping box as default will prevent customers from seeing other shippers, I still haven't noticed it.

5) Check whether the "from" and "to" addresses, along with the selected service, are serviceable by UPS. Compare these details with the Shipping Calculator on the UPS.com website.
6) Contact Shopify Support.
7) If you have your own UPS account, consider trying the PH Multi Carrier Shipping Label app to integrate your own UPS account.
