Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi, we use a 3PL warehouse connected to our Shopify store to fulfill our orders.
Recently, a customer has requested we remove their email address and phone number from the shipping label as they aren't comfortable with this data on public display as it were - We are UK based and only ever ship within the UK using Royal Mail.
It seems that by default, when our 3PL receives the order and prints off the label there is a Customs Declaration form that is part of it. It is this part that shows the customers email address and phone number.
So, is there any way to disable the customs form (which we do not need) so it doesn't pull through to the warehouse or, at the very least, can we edit it so it automatically populates with our email address and phone number instead?
Thanks

Hi,
If any one comes across this post in future with a similar query:
It seems that the customs declaration form is the CN22 and is legally required for shipments from within the UK to Northern Ireland (even though no fees/duties/taxes are payable under a certain limit).
As the customer has a product on subscription with us we aren't able to amend or remove the customers email address and phone number as these details are required for the customer to be able to log in and manage subscription. So for now, the CN22 is basically how we need to do things at the moment due to the post-Brexit Windsor Framework.
Thanks
Hi @Sim6,
Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I'd be happy to provide some assistance with this. To gather a bit more information, are you able to share where the label is being purchased from?
For example, are labels being purchased from within the Shopify admin? If so, I'd encourage you to connect with us directly as customs declaration forms should only be completed for international orders. To learn more about this, I'd encourage you to check out our Shipping and Delivery document as it touches on this further.
If however, shipping labels are being purchased from a third-party provider (i.e Royal Mail), you will want to connect with them directly for assistance. Their support team can investigate further to determine why a customs form is automatically being added to domestic orders.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Blair,
Thanks for getting back to me. I will check with the warehouse again and see if I can find out. Initially, they did advise that it was something that was automatically pulled through to their system from Shopify alongside the order details.
