Upcoming Cybersource API updates (P12 Authentication)

We have Cybersource as our payment provider on our Shopify Plus account. We recently received an email from them talking about upcoming API updates. As far as I understand this concerns the developers who use SOAP Toolkit to integrate with Cybersource. Is this something Shopify was already aware of? Was it already implemented? Do we need to update our API keys? This was the email message:

Dear Valued Customers,

As previously mentioned, as part of our continuous Security Enhancements, we are planning to upgrade the SOAP API Authentication to P12 Authentication.

The date for implementing P12 Authentication exclusively for SOAP APIs has been rescheduled to:

CAS/Test environment: April 14, 2025

Production environment: May 13, 2025

Please plan to make changes at your end using the following information:

1. Upgrade the SOAP Authentication to use P12 using Java SOAP Toolkit that has been published on GitHub and can be found at the below link:
