Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I was trying to print a label today and got this pop up: Verify UPS® return address. The address is an old address which is no longer on my account. When I try to update the address to the current address I get the following error:
Your address could not be updated with UPS.
Review your address for errors and try again or contact support for assistance.
Contact support is not working. I am at my wits end!
Hi! This is something that our team will need to investigate by reviewing the information on the account. Having the same issue as of this morning 7/18/24. I printed a UPS label fine 2 days ago (correct return address on the label, no verification pop-up) This morning I am running into this issue though. It's asking to verify my return address and is showing an old address by default. I believe it's an issue between UPS and Shopify. Originally, support said my address is probably not searchable in Google, but it is. It even shows up in the address selection on the verify address pop-up for the UPS return label. Currently have support working it right now and will update you if they find a fix.
I am having the exact same issue, I reached out to support and they said they reseted my UPS profile and that I need to wait 24 hours, when I sent the support agent the link to this community blog and asked her if she could assure me that by tomorrow at this time the issue will be fixed the chat magically got disconnected and I never got the chat transcript like it usually happens. I have orders coming in and I cannot fulfill my customers orders.
In the meantime, I would recommend creating a business account with UPS (free) and purchasing a label thru them directly, and then manually fulfilling the order on shopify. That's what I've been doing until this is fixed. Interestingly enough, the label purchased directly thru UPS is cheaper than Shopify.
Same exact problem here.
