Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
We are trying to open a new store and are stuck. Our shipping rates are not calculating properly.
We are using our own UPS account to calculate rates on our site. We are also using a 3rd party app to calculate LTL shipments. Our LTL app appears to be working ok.
When we enter larger order weights (2,500 lbs. for example) to check our LTL rates, the UPS rates are showing up first and the rates are ridiculously low.
For this example order with a total order weight of 2,500 lbs., the UPS rates are showing $9.46 for UPS Ground shipping, $11.27 for UPS 3 Day Select and so on!
To provide some perspective, our LTL app is displaying shipping rates starting around $600 which is accurate for this order.
Does anyone know why this is happening?
Thank you,
Mike
Hi,
This issue might be because Shopify doesn't directly support LTL. Also, are you using your UPS account within Shopify or with the 3rd party app you use?
Thanks for your response. We are using a 3rd party app for our LTL and it is working fine. We are also using the native UPS feature using our own account number that is not working properly.
Thanks again,
Mike
