Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi There.
Most of our products have a shipping rate fee of $8, and then our fragile items are $12.50 shipping rate.
When customers purchase a generic product and a fragile product - it is combining the shipping rates of both - meaning they pay $20.50 for shipping.
We want them to only be paying the higher amount of $12.50
Any ideas on how we can make this happen??
Hi,
Unfortunately this is a limitation of Shopify's shipping profiles. You cannot blend the rates to show highest rate only. It adds up the rates by default and their is no way to change this behaviour.
If you absolutely need to have this, you will have to use a third party app like ShipMagic to do so.
