Use your own payment form in Store

Hi,

We have our own payment processing form hosted in AWS, where customers put in their credit card info and complete the payment.

My question is we want to use that form in our Shopify store, what we are thinking is: Use manual payment method option, and on order completion redirect customer to our external credit card payment form or display it in Popup, and after payment completion, update the order accordingly and then redirect customer to thank you page.

Is this possible?

Yes, this is possible. You can try to set it up and test if there will be no issue. You can also reach out to the payment provider so, they can further give you tips or instructions.

Thank you for the response. There is not much customization available on the checkout page other than Shopify Plus plan.

Can you be more specific or share example code perhaps; how we can redirect customers to our payment form (which resides outside Shopify). For example, on the Checkout page when customer clicks on "Complete Order", redirect/open that payment form in popup. Keep in mind as mentioned above, this payment form is outside Shopify..
