USPS Priority Mail miscalculated rate at check out

Hi, we found that the USPS Priority Mail rates are miscalculated at check out starting in Oct-2021.  It seems that anything <20 lbs has only one rate.  But the actual shipping cost is much higher for shipments 3 lbs or more.  Do some testing on our website and found that the calculated cost is $8.96 for <20 lbs then jumps to $28.61 for 20.4 lbs.  We use the default USPS discount rate from Shopify Shipping.  Is there something wrong with the calculations or my setup? Can you re-check your shipping rates and package settings? Which USPS service do you use for shipping?

We offer First Class Package and Priority Mail services.  The calculation worked fine up to sometime in Oct-2021.

The problem only with USPS.  UPS is good.

Yes, as you have mentioned, the issue is with USPS. It would be better to contact Shopify support directly to get a solution for this. Since it is an issue with USPS, Shopify support should have a solution for this.
