Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
My store got 20% of my payouts put on hold for 120 days which means they were put in reserved funds. Later on I ended up switching payment processors from Shopify to Stripe and I can no longer see where my reserved payouts are.
I would assume the money is still going to be paid out regardless if I switched payment processors or not and I am wondering how I can view/find how much I still have on hold?
Hey! I totally get how frustrating that must feel. Even though you’ve switched to Stripe, Shopify should still release the reserved funds after the 120-day hold period, since those funds were earned while you were still using Shopify Payments.
To check how much is still on hold, try this:
1. Go to your Shopify admin.
2. Click on Settings > Payments.
3. Under Shopify Payments, there should still be a section showing your payouts history even if you’ve switched processors.
4. Look for a tab or filter that says Reserve or On hold.
Thank you for your reply! Unfortunately there is no section where I can see my payout history when going to settings > payments. If I go under finance I am able to see payout history but there is still no tab or filter or tab that shows my reserves or what is on hold. A while ago, when I reviewed the email saying 20% of my funds would be on hold, The reserves/on hold tab was visible. Now, for some reason, it is just not there which is very frustrating.
