Want to deactivate paypal

My colleague set up our Shopify store. He allowed for Paypal Express Checkout, but given we don't have Paypal he should not have done. So we can't complete the setup. I want to remove Paypal as a payment method. There appears to be no way to deactivate Paypal on my settings screen, how do we do this?
