Three weeks ago, you ran a control check on our store and blocked our payouts.
It took you two and a half weeks to unblock them. So far, fine.
But during those two and a half weeks, we struggled to ship orders to customers since you were holding all the profits and funds for our merchandise.

Then, when you finally reactivated the payouts, boom—another problem from Shopify.
You blocked my bank account and demanded we change it, which delayed the payouts again.

It’s now been a week and a half since we’ve been waiting for our money. You’re still holding over $10,000 CAD that belongs to us.

Because of this, we’ve had to shut down our business.
You’re holding onto all our cash, we’re having issues with the bank since we can’t make payments, and our customers are waiting on their orders since we don’t have the money to buy the products.

You killed our family business.
You’re stopping us from investing.

You’ve also caused us anxiety and stress—we’re losing sleep over this.

And even now, you’re still holding our money, and nobody from Shopify is answering us.

Your support team has no clue how to help or answer my questions.
I’ve sent tons of emails to different departments, and nobody has responded.

You’re creating a mess, and we’re done with this.

I’m asking, one last time—can someone, a rep, step up and take care of our case and make sure we get our money?
We’re open to giving you a chance, but we need communication between us and Shopify.

I swear, I better hear from you soon. Not later—soon.

You’ve destroyed our plans with your awful policies.

Please respond. Fix this problem. We need our money, ASAP.

It's still taking forever.

Listen, at some point, I just lost hope, so I stopped bugging tech support with the same questions since they kept giving me super vague answers. I let 7-8 days go by before messaging them yesterday, saying I still had the issue and that the failed payouts hadn’t been rescheduled—for a few thousand bucks.

Finally, the support advisor actually did their job. Two hours later, I got an update straight from Shopify’s payment department, and bam, I saw my next payout lined up with the exact amount we were missing. Fingers crossed it all works out tomorrow.

Honestly, the best advice I can give is to be patient. One day, you’ll catch someone who actually gets what you need, and you’ll see everything get sorted out.

But otherwise, I’ve never had such trash service as with Shopify. I wouldn’t recommend this platform at all—they mess with our money, they’re ruthless.
