Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
We love the shipping system (minus the default box situation) but we've noticed the tracking doesn't update well to tell us things are delivered. When we check on the orders the delivery service has listed the packages as delivered but it isn't updating in the Shopify system.
It would be great if we can manually set them as delivered, or force this system to update so when we are checking on deliveries we aren't seeing all the orders from months past that say they are in transit, out for delivery, or just tracking added (but have been delivered).
Hey, @Jill-Rush.
Thanks for reaching out.
Just to gather some additional context, are you using a third-party application to assist you with tracking of your shipments/orders? I am just trying to get a better understanding of this so we can provide the feedback to our developers.
Looking forward to your response.

I don't think so. We set up shipping through Shopify's system and are using USPS, UPS and DHL on the shopify shipping system (is this considered third party?). It just seems like the system doesn't always update whether a package was delivered or not. I don't know if this is because these services are not reporting it back or the system isn't updating after a certain amount of time. I just don't want customers to report they never got a package after UPS archives their tracking information and we can't prove it arrived.
Hey, @Jill-Rush.
I appreciate the quick response in this regard. I can certainly understand the need to have the tracking information up to date! In this case, I believe it would be best to allow our live support to take a look into your store set-up and advise further. You can get in direct contact with our live support by navigating to the Help Center. Once you arrive at the Help Center, you will need to make the virtual assistant be aware that you would like to Speak with support and you will be connected with a Support Advisor accordingly.
Let me know if you have any questions.
