Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi Everyone,
I am looking for recommendations for the best shipping / delivery options for my online store. www.potentenergy.co.uk
We are launching next month and expect to sell 10-20 units per week initially. I have been told that these volumes are likely too small / uneconomical to justify using a third party outsourced fulfillment provider. I am also told that in the first instance we should stick to UK orders (avoiding the EU due to Brexit costs).
So I expect that for the first 6 months at least we will be required to package up our products, print off shipping labels for our own parcels and then liaise with delivery partners to deliver to our customers. I understand that some partners come to pick up from our site and others you can shuttle packages to their pick up point.
Can anyone recommend the best apps/partners to help us in this scenario? Please also not that we only have the standard Shopify paid plan (so if we need to upgrade ideally then let us know).
Any other pointers are also very much apprecited,
Thanks a million in advance!
Hi,
Hope the launch of your store went well.
I'm in the same situation as you where when you posted this on the forum, but i see no one replied! I was about to post the same thing. I'm having trouble integrating royal mail, so think i can still use their rates but will have to do everything manually to begin with? I just want to find the simplest way to provide the best shipping rates for customers. Any advice?
Thank you so much!
