When am I charged for shipping during order fulfillment?

At what point in the fulfillment process of an order am I charged for shipping?  When I print the shipping label?

Shipping labels are either charged through your monthly Shopify invoice or a separate invoice, and the way they are charged depends on how much you spend on them. If you spend enough on shipping labels to reach your billing threshold, you are invoiced and charged immediately at any point of your billing cycle. This needs to be settled before you can continue purchasing more labels. If you spend less than the threshold, these shipping labels will be charged through your monthly Shopify bill that is invoiced at the time your billing cycle ends. 

If you wish to know how much your billing threshold is, you can go to the Bills section of the Billing page in your admin. You can access the Billing page by going to Settings > Billing or Finances > Billing if your store has this section.

This is important to have as this doesn't only inform customers how long they have to wait for their order, but it also protects you as a store owner from complaints involving delivery delays.
