Where and how do obtain tracking numbers for my Shopify customer's orders?

I have has several order, but where do I get the tracking numbers to add to the orders? Do

Congratulations on your first several orders! There are different methods for adding the tracking depending on your business model and/or how your products are being fulfilled. If you're fulfilling orders on your own, then you can simply add the tracking numbers to the orders. You can also buy Shopify Shipping labels directly from within the Shopify admin to fulfill your own orders and drop the packages off at your local post office. 

On the other hand, if you're dropshipping or using a fulfillment service, then you will want to check if tracking is included with their services. If they offer tracking, then they may be able to add it in for you or you can copy the tracking number onto the order on Shopify.
