Which payment providers are CBD compatible for online stores?

Hello Everybody,

I am looking for a solution to finally go online with my store does anyone know which payment provider is C B D and Shopify compatible ? Or is there a way to manually offer credit card by direct contact with the bank or something ?

Hi there, @MeineBlüte.

Excellent question! We do have go-to gateways that we recommend for higher-risk products such as CBD products. The first recommendation and easiest gateway to set up is Bankful. Our secondary recommendation is Authorize.net.  Assuming you're based in Germany based on the German text, I can see that both these gateways are available to you.  In case you need any help with adding a third-party gateway like the ones listed here, this help doc walks through the process.

We do have some guides on selling CBD products but they would be specific to the USA. It is your responsibility as the merchant to ensure you are compliant with all laws for your country and the countries you will be selling to, however, I do wish to share our USA CBD Guide here as it has some excellent information.
