I recently purchased a Shopify subscription for $30 up front and the first 3 months were supposed to be $1 and now it’s saying that my subscription ends in 2 days and I will have to pay another $30

Just to confirm, you purchased a subscription plan for $30/month and you're seeing a message that says your subscription ends in 2 days and you'll need to pay another fee. 

 

I would like to advise that the $1 month for 3-month extended trial is eligible for the Starter Plan and Basic Plan. When the 3-day trial has finished, you can proceed to choose a plan and you'll be able to select either the Starter or Basic plans for $1 USD/month for 3 months. Once the 3-month period is up, you will be required to pay the full price of your selected plan as normal. You should not be billed double as you first are required to select a plan and after the 3 months is when you are billed for the selected plan.

 

I recommend contacting our team via the Shopify Help Center so we can take a look into your Settings > Billing section at your subscription. Doing this requires our team to authenticate your account so we can look at the necessary information. Through our community forums, we are unable to authenticate or provide account-specific support.

Thank you for your swift response. I am just replying to make sure that
when I choose my plan when my free trial ends, I won’t be charged for that
right? The funds have been taken out of my account already, so when the
time comes I only have to pay whenever the 3 months ends, correct?

Yes, when your 3-day free trial ends, you're prompted to choose a plan (Starter Plan and Basic Plan are eligible for the $1 month/3 months.) 

 

This is correct, you're only billed for the selected plan once the 3-month extended trial has finished. You mentioned you already paid for the subscription so I'd like our team to take a look to ensure there are no issues.
