Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I’ve got a strange error that’s appeared three times in the last week on my abandoned checkout. Three seperate customers have gotten the same error with multiple attempts to purchase through Shopify Payments.
The error message is “Credit card Apple Pay currency not equal to transaction currency - AP: 36 TXN: 840”. Anyone else encountered this before or know what it means and how I can fix it?
Hi, @dave_goodonya.
Thanks for reaching out in our Community Forums about this.
This error message could be occurring due to a few different reasons, but typically the customer will need to verify that their Apple Pay account supports cross-border transactions, and that there is no missing information (like country) on their Apple Pay profile.
If after checking the above they're still running into issues though, you can contact our live support team so that we can investigate the particular abandoned checkouts in more detail from our end.
To get in touch with our team, you'll need to login to your store via our Help Center here. Once logged in, select a topic that best fits your query or situation.
