Thank you. There are some requirements you'll want to make sure you are meeting in terms of the card you are using. While most merchants accept VISA and Mastercard debit cards, please not that some may only accept credit cards via their payment processor. You will also want to ensure that the billing address you are entering in matches the one you have on file with your bank.
You can also try paying via a different browser or device, and clearing your browser's cookies and cache. If issues persist I'd also recommend checking in with your bank directly to ask them if there's any issues with your card or account currently that may prevent you from making purchases.

Hi @Aljaz1,
What error messages are you seeing when you try and pay with your card at checkout? What type of card is it (e.g. VISA/ Mastercard, debit/ credit, etc)?

Hello Victor,
I also encountered the same situation. My JCB card had previously been working very well and without any errors. Last March my card expired. I have been issued a new card from the bank, however I cannot add a new card to the payment method, it always shows an error as shown in the attached image. Could you help me?
Hi @pandamap
Thank you joining the thread, I understand you are not able to add your updated card to your merchant account. Unfortunately, the image you attached was not received on my end. That being said, I do recommend contacting our authenticated chat support for further help with this. Our community support does not have the ability to review merchant accounts or investigate issues like this.
To access our authenticated support, please follow this link: Shopify Help Center. Open the AI chat window and type "Contact Support" to get started.
