Why am I getting an error when collecting payment on draft orders?

Hi

We have just launched a site and the client is using SagePay Form & PayPal to take payments on the front end

But if the client tries to add an order in the backend via the collect payment

Then they get the following error

How can we set it up so that the admin can put orders through as they accept orders over the phone and add them in

Hi @telastudio 

In this situation you would need to have an integrated payment gateway added to your store. While I am not very familiar with Sagepay, I know that for PayPal to collect payment would require the customer to be redirected to PayPal and then they are sent back to your store. For draft order payments that won't work.

You need to install an integrated payment option that doesn't require redirecting customers away from the store. If using PayPal, you may want to look into PayPal Payflow Pro as an integrated checkout option.
