Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I have a domestic shipping to the UK set up, which I can't change, but my customers are receiving 'we don't ship to this area' messages and I'm losing sales! Who can I speak to urgently about this please?
Actually, it seems that the European shipping code I set up has somehow interfered with the Domestic one. I have deleted my European shipping and the Domestic reverts and starts to work again. So, the question now is, how do I get both?
Hi, @FARINO.
How do you currently have your shipping rates configured? Is it through flat rates that you've created yourself, or via a carrier-calculated rate?
I went through some troubleshooting steps in regards to a similar shipping rate issue in this Forum thread, so feel free to go through it to see if that'll help with your issue. You can also double check your products and ensure that they've been marked as a physical product within the product page on your store's Shopify admin. Check out the Shipping section of this help guide for more information on this.
Another area within your Shopify admin that you can check is Shopify Markets. You can navigate to Settings > Markets to check if the Europe and UK regions are active on your store. If a region you'd like to sell to isn't currently active on your store, you can click Manage > Market status > Active for the market that you wish to activate. If a region you'd like to ship to hasn't been added as a market though, click on the Add market button instead to create a new market specifically for that region.
If you still can't pinpoint where the issue is stemming from, our live support team can help take a closer look at your account from our end. You can contact our team by logging in to your store via our Help Center here. Once logged in, select a topic that best fits your query or situation. From there, you'll be taken to a page with a list of relevant support articles, and you can scroll to the bottom of that page to select your preferred contact method with our team.
Apart from this, how are you getting on with your international selling strategy? If you're looking for more tips and tricks to help with optimizing cross-border selling, I highly recommend taking a closer look at our resources below:
