Why are customer addresses not being accepted on my e-commerce platform?

Our customers are emailing us to say their address isn't being accepted by Shopify? Is there a gliutch in the system? The address locations are in Hamilton and London and who knows where else.

I'm sorry to hear that some of your customers have had trouble completing their purchases.


The good news is that I don't believe there are any widespread issues with the checkout at the moment, and that I was able to checkout on my test store with both Hamilton and London addresses. Let's see what we can do to get this fixed for your customers.


Have you had customers from Hamilton or London checkout successfully in the past? If not, I recommend double checking that you have shipping zones and rates set up for customers in Ontario.


The Shopify checkout will suggest an address as you begin typing. Did the customers specify whether their address wasn't coming up as a suggestion, or whether an error message came up when they entered an address?
