Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi - is anyone else suddenly having problems with people not being able to checkout because their address is not being accepted?
I don’t use Shopify shipping and I haven't changed anything in my shipping settings (or any other settings for that matter) but suddenly everyone is getting this Shopify Message : "This order can’t be shipped to the address you entered. Review your address to ensure that all fields have been entered correctly and try again."
Any suggestions on what to do to fix this?
YES!
I started a Small Biz Saturday sale and I have only had 5 orders come through. I'm getting emails and DMs from people who have ordered from me many times before and now they are being told that they need to correct their address before they can complete checkout.
Problem is ... their addresses are CORRECT! And so they can't check out.
Someone needs to help. I can extend my sale and send an email out to let everyone know what's going on, but if no one can tell us what's wrong we can't fix it. We need someone from SHOPIFY to help.
Thanking you in advance,
Yvette
Hi, @TheYvetteRene
I appreciate you reaching out regarding your shipping issue.
Shipping settings can be extremely sensitive. Thus, we will need more context to know fully what could be causing this. Is this happening for all orders? Are some orders going through and others not? Has this always happened, or is this new?
Some possible scenarios are the region where the customer lives is not selected in your Shipping Zones. Or, if you offer price-based or weight-based shipping, there is a gap in the rates that the orders are falling into, which does not provide rates. For example, If you offer $5 shipping for orders from $0-50 and free shipping for orders from $ 51 and up, there is a gap between 50-51. This would mean that any charges of $50 and X cents would not be applicable for shipping.
Please provide a screenshot of the shipping rate that applies to one of the failed orders; this should give me enough information to narrow down the issue.
I appreciate any more context you can provide.
I have the same problem starting this morning.
Customers are notifying that they can checkout because we do not ship to their address. But nothing has changed!
