Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi,
I am using a shopify balance account to receive my payouts for the past several weeks I have been receiving payouts within the next day. However, this week i changed my payout account to my bank and changed it back to balance and now my payouts are taking 2-5 business days which exceeds the 1 business day expectation i had previously.
Can someone help explain this and help me get my account back to 1 business day payouts? This is negatively affecting my businesses cashflow and ruining my relationships with my vendors, customers, and employees.
Hey @jeflooo
Hope you doing well.

they didn't help
We are experiencing something similar. I just activated Shopify Balance, really just for the intent of having out state sales tax set aside. However our payouts are being delayed about 3 days longer now. Today is a Tuesday and I am just not receiving payouts from last Wednesday! I'm chatting online with support but they're "reasearching" it because apparently they don't have an idea what is going on either.
I did not understand that when I signed up for Shopify Balance I would increase my time to be paid out by as much as a week with them counting "business days". Today, I changed my payout directly to my corporate bank account (which was the way it was set up anyway) -- only to find at the end it said my sales proceeds would still go to Shopify Balance first. I am quite perplexed about this and want to be paid sooner, rather than later. This impacts my cash flow. Does anyone know how to permanently get rid of Shopify Balance????????????????????????
