Why are my drop-shipping payouts on hold?

Hi, I just created my website for drop-shipping and I was trying to solve the message saying "Your payouts from shopify are on hold" even though I've done the necessary things to help me solve this problem such as the two step authentication method for my account. I would greatly appreciate anyone helping me solve this problem as I am stuck.

To share some context, this is likely a standard review that's completed for any new businesses that are using Shopify Payments. Its purpose is to help reduce any fraudulent activity that may occur on the platform and should only take a few business days to be completed. 

 

With that said, you should see a banner within the homepage of the Shopify admin that indicates your next steps. It will likely outline one of the following messages: 

 

  • If you have been prompted to upload documents, then you will want to do so as soon as possible. Please be sure to provide all the requested information, ensuring documents are clear and complete (i.e the entire documents - no edges or corners cut off). Any submitted documents may take up to 3 business days to be reviewed. 
  • If you're not seeing an option to upload documents, you will likely see a message asking you to contact support. In this case, you will want to head over to our Contact Page and get in touch with our support advisors as soon as possible.
