Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I’m having an issue getting an update on orders. Not sure if it’s something I didn’t do correctly or the drop shipping suppliers. The orders were paid in full. The orders keep saying Still In Progress. I’ve tried requesting fulfillment. I don’t have any info for customers. Please advise?
If it says In Progress, it means that the fulfillment service assigned to that order has not yet fulfilled the order (or they have not updated it in Shopify).
Contact the fulfillment service that manages that order and send them a screenshot + the order number, they'll be able to fix that for you.
Alternatively, if the item has been shipped and the fulfillment service doesn't update the order, you can cancel the fulfillment request, change the location of the fulfillment order to a location you manage, then mark as shipped / add tracking to close out the order. I would still contact them though because if you request fulfillment to a 3rd party they are responsible for updating the order automatically for you.
