Why are my Shopify payments not processing correctly?

I fill in all the information and then when I'm done and I want to send it, I load it back straight away, it doesn't say what the problem is or what I did wrong, I also don't see an error.

I understand that you are in the process of setting up your Shopify Payments integration and are experiencing an error when inputting your information. In order to rule out a local issue, here are a few troubleshooting steps that you can do before contacting their support team:

  • Try a different web browser to rule out any browser issues. 
  • Try another device, like another computer or mobile phone.
  • Try another internet connection (switching to a cellular network on a phone rather than wifi, for example)
  • Ensure you do not have any firewalls or pop up blockers enabled on the device as these can interfere.

If the issue persists, we may need to access your account to gather more information. While we are unable to provide account-specific support through the Community Forums, we would be happy to continue assisting you through our Help Center. To access our live support, you can ask the Virtual Shopify Assistant to "contact support." It will then guide you on the next steps to connect with a team member who can assist you further.


In the meantime, feel free to view The General Checklist as it’s great tool that will ensure that you have your Shopify store all set up.  You can go through the check list and be confident that you have a finished product, that includes having your media, shipping and check out all in working order.
