Why are my Shopify payouts not syncing with order dates?

I have a few screenshots showing what I will briefly explain. I just opened my store saturday and got my very first sale. It's payout date was March 8th. It is currently March 8th and the bank account I associated with Shopify Payments has not received the funds for the order, this has been the date (March 8th) since the order was placed days ago. 

I received my second sale today and it's payout date is set to March 10th. I looked on the homepage and under payments it shows a combined amount of money with a payout date of March 9th. My payout dates are set to "everyday"

Im wondering when do I get a payout, any payout?Also, did it really take one date from the initial payment that was created two days ago prior to today (March 8th) and then take the payout date of the new order placed today (March 10th) then chose a middle date (March 9th) and will I ACTUALLY get a payout on March 9th like it states?

Im new to shopify and this is all so confusing excuse my lack of knowledge if I'm missing something. I thought people just pay, you receive your money and that's it.

Totally understand how confusing a Shopify Payments payouts schedule can be, especially if you're just starting out!

To clarify, the payout date within your store's payout schedule refers to the date on which Shopify transfers the funds over to your bank account. It's expected that payouts may take longer to reach your bank account, as this process is based on your bank's processing time. Since processing times differ from one bank to another, you can double check this with your bank if you'd like to know more about the amount of time the funds will appear in your bank account. Another thing to note about payouts is that there is a cutoff time to factor in orders and payment captures, and for Shopify Payments payouts the cutoff time is 12 UTC. This means that if, for example, you've missed a payout schedule due to capturing the order's payment after 12 UTC on that day, you'll see this payment being added to the next available payout instead.

It can take some time to get used to how payouts work, but if you'd like further clarification on your account-specific payout, our live support team will be able to help. We aren't able to do this via the Community Forums at this stage, but you can reach out to our live support team via our help centre here. Once you've logged in to your store on our help centre, type in your question or the topic you need help with. After that, you should see the Get Support heading at the very bottom of the page, and you can click Continue to start a support request. From there, our support team can assist with your query further.
